What Data We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. When you use the planner, we store the financial data you enter — such as income, savings, debts, spending estimates, and retirement assumptions — so you can save and revisit your plans. We do not collect data beyond what you explicitly provide.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to generate retirement projections and store your saved plans. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal or financial data. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling. Aggregate, anonymised statistics may be used to improve the tool.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL platform with row-level security enabled. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Your plans are associated with your authenticated user account and are not accessible to other users. Supabase stores data on servers located in Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2 region).

Unsaved plan drafts are stored in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to our servers until you explicitly save a plan. Clearing your browser data will remove any unsaved drafts.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your stored data at any time via your profile.
• Export: You can export all your data as a JSON file from your profile page.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your profile page.
• Portability: The exported JSON file contains all your plans and related data in a standard, machine-readable format.

Cookies & Analytics

We use an essential authentication session cookie managed by Supabase Auth. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookieless page-view statistics. Plausible does not set any cookies and does not collect personal data.

We use PostHog for product analytics and session recording. PostHog may set a session cookie to distinguish visits. Session recordings are configured to mask all form fields — no financial amounts, income figures, or personal data entered into the planner are captured in recordings.
